Oral Presentation
Each group member will be graded individually on their oral presentation. Each group member will be assigned a specific part of the project to orally share with the rest of the class.
Analysis - Students should provide an overview of the story read, an overview of the analysis essay written, as well as an analysis of a short passage from the story. Purpose: To inform/analyze.
Research - Explain why you chose the particular NGO; provide a useful information session on the NGO. Purpose: To inform.
Rhetorical Tourism - Convince your audience to visit your country. Purpose: To persuade/entertain.
Be prepared to ask questions. Bonus points will be given for a lot of good questions.
Take notes on presentations. A quiz will be given at the end.
Don't forget to look at the rubric carefully.
